This photo neatly sums up why Golf Crow was built. Multiple cards, money, drinks and bar napkins in a valiant effort to try and figure everything out.
Golf Crow was inspired by the 7 Ways Nassau game played at Rockland Country Club in New York. Prior to that golf was only for score with little to no emphasis on competition. Turns out it’s much more exciting to play with something riding on the outcome and one of the best ways to improve your game, match play trial by fire. The concept of handicap and strokes was also new and enabled a framework for contending against better or worse skill sets. That and over time settling the ribbing score of who had a better match record, who won the most and who shot the best. Just among my friend/player group, not the entire world.
